Privacy Policy
How ClearRemover handles your photos and personal information.
Last updated: 2026-10-27
Summary
- Photos you upload are used only to produce your result.
- Your original photo is deleted as soon as the AI has finished erasing.
- Results are kept privately for up to 48 hours so you can download them, then deleted automatically.
- We never sell your data and never use your photos to train AI models.
What we collect
- Photos and masks — the image you upload and the area you brush over, stored privately so our AI can process them.
- Account information — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- Usage limits data — to enforce daily free limits and prevent abuse we keep a salted hash of your IP address, a browser identifier and a daily usage count. These counters are deleted after 7 days.
- Cookies — a session cookie when you sign in, and a language preference cookie.
How photos are processed
Your photo, the area you brush over, and a copy of the photo with that area tinted red are uploaded directly to private storage on Cloudflare R2. To erase objects, they are sent to Replicate, which runs the AI model and returns the result. As soon as the model has run, we delete these uploaded files. We keep only the result, in the same private storage, so you can download it; results are deleted automatically within 48 hours.
Service providers
- Cloudflare — hosting, file storage and bot protection (Turnstile).
- Replicate — runs the AI model that removes objects.
- Google — sign-in, only if you choose to sign in.
These providers process data only to deliver the service to you.
