A Free remove.bg Alternative
remove.bg is closing its standalone website on December 1, 2026. Remove image backgrounds here instead, free every day and with no account needed.
What is changing with remove.bg
- From December 1, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. CET, the standalone remove.bg website will no longer be available, according to remove.bg.
- Regular users are being moved to Canva, which owns remove.bg, and self-serve API users to Leonardo.Ai. Using it inside Canva requires a Canva account.
- Unused pay-as-you-go credits expire on the same day, so use or move them before December 1.
